8A Unit 1Welcome to the unit教学反思(附教案)

2006年12月7日,本人有幸在建湖县实验初中参加了市级初中英语优课展评活动。回顾此次活动,感触颇深。
我上的是牛津英语8A Unit1 Welcome to the unit。本课的主题是友谊和分享,介绍了关于朋友的不同品质。我从让学生听歌曲和观看一段录像入手,营造氛围,直接导入本课中心话题朋友。通过Free talk呈现good-looking, honest, joy和secret 等新单词,让学生在轻松自由的交谈中接受新知识了解新知识,通过提出What makes your friend so special?引导学生回答一本青少年杂志上几个关于朋友的品质问题,同时穿插知识点的讲解,帮助学生重新设计问题,拓展学生的思维,从机械模仿到编造相似的对话,进一步巩固知识,突出朋友的品质话题。接着学习Eddie和Hobo这两个卡通人物妙趣横生的对话,通过听录音回答问题培养学生的听力理解能力,创设情境让学生扮演角色在活动中达到运用语言自由交际的目的。然后由学生竞猜我的好朋友引出新品质的词汇,并回顾总结所有的品质词汇,组织学生展开热烈的讨论,找出作为好朋友最重要、一般重要和不重要的品质,本人根据结果巧妙渗透情感教育,号召学生慎重择友,从而使本课的主题得以挖掘升华。最后加强课堂写的训练,让学生描述自己最好的朋友情况,继续让同学们竞猜,寓教于乐,并借助一篇短文阅读强化学生阅读理解能力的训练。
     反思自己的整个教学过程,有值得肯定之处但更多的感觉是存在的许多不足。首先是课型定位不准。我没有认真地分析教材的编写特色及体系,对本课型在本单元起的作用仅是模糊肤浅的认识。课堂教学容量过大,超出了学生应掌握的基本知识,拔高了对学生的能力要求。教学中的最后环节要求学生对好朋友的描述是多余的,因为它不符合本节课的授课内容,应在后面的Main Task传授。其次,教学的重难点不够突出,对词汇的教学不够细致,对知识点的讲解不够详实,对写的习题设计不够规范。本节课应掌握哪些四会单词对学生没有明确的任务要求,有些词汇根本在课上没有呈现,更谈不上讲解。对学生应掌握的重难点也无明确的提示。另外,活动开展得不够热烈。虽然本课有双人活动、小组活动,活动方式也是多种多样,但学生仅仅是就书讲书,没有创造性的思维。分角色朗读课文时,我发现学生非常的听话,总是被我牵着走。我让做什么,他们就做什么,学生始终处于被动中,可是这样的学习是不会有利于学生的长远发展的。更不符合新课程的理念。 教学中未能充分调动学生学习的积极性,整节课课堂气氛不够活跃。再者,直观教具的使用本是为了进一步激发学生学习兴趣,但我却过多地把它变成了投影仪的功能,文字代替了图片。它的辅助作用未能得以充分展示,而且做得不够精致。  
     针对以上情况,今后的教学中我将注意做到以下几个方面:
一、 加强学习,认真研究新大纲新教材,研究新课程理念,依据课程的总体目标并结合教学内容,创造性地设计贴近学生实际的教学活动,吸引和组织他们积极参与。这样学生可以通过思考、交流和合作等方式,更好的学习和使用英语,完成学习任务。当然,活动不应该仅限于课堂教学,而应该延伸到课堂之外的学习和生活中,鼓励学生平日里多说英语,让学生达到“活学活用、学以致用”,更好的突出我们语言教学的语用性和交际性。
二、  当堂巩固,注重反馈。教学时要处处考虑如何发挥学生的主体作用,要以学生的参与程度和教学评价的得失作为课堂教学成功与否的尺度,所以,在学生经过一段学习活动后,让学生自己进行归纳分析,然后教师以鼓励表扬为主,满腔热情帮助学生,及时处理反馈信息,当堂巩固,如果时间许可的话,还可引导学生对一些易出错的地方,如人称变化,谓语动词的形式变化、某些习惯表达的异同进行归纳分析,让学生学有所得。
三、 在教学实践中,要设法帮助学生学会学习,以激发和保持学习动力,培养学生的自学能力,培养良好的学习习惯,把优化课堂教学当成教育的主渠道,尽最大可能为学生创造运用英语的情景,指导学生积极地运用语言,在学中用,在用中学。"授人以鱼,不如授人以渔"教是为了学生的"学",是要让学生"会学"。因此,我要重视对学生的课外学习的指导,帮助他们养成良好学习习惯和自学能力。

四、 狠抓基础,注意容量。一方面突出知识重点,狠抓基础,一方面面向全体学生,注意容量,把握节奏,备课先备人,平时注意了解和分析每个学生的具体实际情况,因材施教,有的防矢,合理安排好40分钟教学内容和进程,课堂上,让每个学生都参与学习活动,学生实践面较广并在同一水平基础上对内容从多视角理解,多角度开展操练运用,即在互相理解的基础上从听、说、读、写不同角度展开,让学生练习理解运用,并设疑释疑、解惑,让学生积极思考,改变过去以教师为中心,满堂灌的状态,合理有效地利用现代化教学手段,走出一支粉笔盒满黑板的例句的教学模式。
   以上是我对本节课的几点思考,写得不对或不到之处,敬请各位同仁专家批评指正。

To learn how to describe people and master the knowledge of qualities of friends
3.Emotion target:
To learn how to make true friends with others.

Teaching aids:
1.A tape recorder           2.A multi-media computer

Teaching important points and difficulties:
To understand what qualities a true friend should have


Teaching Procedures:
Ⅰ.Watching  the video
T: Boys and girls, first let’s watch a short film. What’s the film about? Can you tell me?
S: It’s about friends.
T: Good. Friends are very important in our daily life, so today we’re going to learn sth. about friends.
Ⅱ.Learn and match:
1.Free talk and learn new words
T: Excuse me, do you have a good friend? Is he/she helpful(polite, beautiful…)?   S: Yes , I do./Yes, he is.
T: We can also say he/she is good-looking. Look! How good-looking the girl is!(on the board “good-looking”) Why do you choose him/her as your friend?
S: Because he/she is kind/helpful/honest…./He can keep secrets./can help me./make me happy.
(Students read the phrases on the screen after T twice)
T: Can your friend share your joy/make you happy/keep secrets?(Pair work one by one)
T: Then what makes your friend so special? Maybe the advertisement Daniel is reading can help us find the answers. Look! Can you help me match the words on the left with the questions on the right?
2.Match the qualities with questions
When students answer, he must read the words and sentences.
3.Make dialogues
T: Now, boys , girls Can you make a similar dialogue? Do you talk to your friend when you have problems?
S: Yes, I do.
T: Why?    S: Because he is helpful.
Then students make similar dialogues in pairs.
Ⅲ.Practice:
1. Talk about qualities
T: I have a friend, too. He is a famous singer. He is very popular. His songs are usually welcomed by young people. He comes from Taiwan. Do you know who he is.
S: He is Zhou Jielun.
T: Right. Can you fill in the blank, yes, It’s musical. “Musical” is a kind of quality.  Do you know any other qualities?
S: kind/polite/helpful/good-looking/honest/funny…
T: Good! Read after me. kind, kind …What qualities are important in a good friend? What are quite/very/not important? Let’s try to finish the table in 6people for a group. Each group chooses a group leader to tell us the results. You may begin like this:
It’s quite/very/not important to for our friends be polite/helpful/honest/                   
2. Complete the table
Students say : It’s very/quite/not important for our friends to be…
T fills in the blanks with stars.
3.Summary: From the table, we know it’s …
4.Discuss: Then when we want to make friends, what should we pay attention to, appearance or qualities?
T: Good. When we make friends, we must open our eyes wide because sometimes some friends are not true friends. When we are in need, they don’t help us, they run away. As you know, Hobo has a good friend Eddie, too. Why does Hobo choose Eddie as his friend? Let’s listen to the tape and answer my question.
5.Read the dialogue together and answer more questions.
6.Act the dialogue
T: Just  now, you did very well. Now I’ll give you a few minutes to prepare, then I’ll ask you to act the dialogue out.
S: I’m hungry, Eddie. …
T: Well done! Can you make similar dialogues?
6.Talk my photo as a model
T: Boys , girls. Now please look at this photo. Who is this young woman?
Yes, it’s me. This man and this old woman are my good friends. They come from Canada. They are old but they are very strong. They are kind and friendly to me. They are good at running. Can you describe your best friends? Now take out this piece of paper and write down something about your best friend. You needn’t write down your friend’s names. Later I’ll ask you to read it to us. Let others guess who he/she is.
6.Play the guessing game of describing best friends
Ⅳ.Exercises
Ask students to finish a reading article and choose the best answers.
Ⅴ.Homework
Write a story about myself.
